It is with great pleasure and excitement that we bring to you,

Boutique Kittens "Ragapers"

In keeping with our mission and philosophy there are three things that we strive to
not only achieve, but improve.

This breed provides one more opportunity for us to not only meet and enhance
the Standards we have set for ourselves here at Boutique Kittens, but it
also brings what has been expected by the Judges that mean the
most to us - OUR KITTY CLIENTS and their families.

We would like to share our Ragaper Journey
and explain how and why these angels came to be...

One day at a routine vet visit Kathi asked our vet Dr. Steen about crossing the two breeds.
(Ragamuffins & Persians)
Bringing two wonderful breeds together, the best both worlds, for one incredibly
healthy "Bou Baby".  Dr. Steen quickly pointed out his praise in this idea,
as it is no secret that the gene pool with any one known breed is
limited. This breeding would enhance characteristics and
health  and is an allowable  out crossing  of CFA.
With that being said, we began our endeavor
of the incredible Ragaper mission.

Though the crossbreeding of Ragamuffins and Persians is an allowable
out crossing in CFA, it is not a "Breed Category".   Therefore,
babies from these breedings can not be registered.

The descriptive term Ragaper helps our kitty clients have a better
understanding of the genetic makeup of their "Bou Baby".

In 2004 we embarked upon this incredible journey
to bring to you these magnificent Ragaper.
